Good morning everyone,
Please take care on your way to school and on our playground as it is extremely icy where snow was not cleared. We very likely will have an inside day during recess and lunch due to the icy conditions.
PAC Fundraiser –
The Savory PAC is introducing the “Great Little Coupon Book” fundraiser.
These books include coupons for fantastic local restaurants, attractions, sports and leisure’s. This is a great opportunity to raise funds for the Savory PAC. Last year it was one of our most successful fundraisers. The books are $15 each and $7.50 of that will be going back to the school PAC.
Each student will be provided with one book to sell and an order form for additional books. If you don’t want to purchase the coupon book please return it to the school. The order forms are due back March 1st.
Payments for the books can me made in cash or online through our hot lunch website. If you have any further questions please email savoryfundraising@gmail.com
Please see attached information for our school and community. Please note that this Friday is a Professional Development Day and Monday is Family Day – no school on these days.

Good morning all,
Hope you all had a restful weekend. All of our schools are open today and main roads were clear on my route to Savory. Grainger has some snow/ice and while our driveway was plowed over the weekend, it now has a small layer of snow and likely some ice so please drive with care.
Walkways etc. will be snowy and icy too on your route so please be careful.
As we are in for snow today and tomorrow, please ensure that kiddos are coming prepared with proper winter coats, boots, mitts/gloves, hats etc. and a change of clothes is a good idea as well. Extra layers for outside are a good idea.
Our Mountain part of the playground will be closed.
In terms of tomorrow, please refer to the information we sent home Friday via email (MyEd). Please listen to local media, social media and I will send out an email as well should there be a school closure.
