Savory welcomes Kindergarten registration applicants from Children born in 2018. These students will begin Kindergarten in September 2023.

In addition, School Change Requests for the 2023-24 School Year are available January 23 through February 3, 2023. Any current Kindergarten to Grade 4 Savory students who are planning on attending another School District 62 elementary school in the 2023-24 school year, should contact the Savory Office about this change and fill out a School Change Request Form for 2023-24. This is an ideal time for students who were sent to Savory because their Catchment School was full in 2022-23, to transfer back to that school if they wish to attend their Catchment School in 2023-24.
All current Grade 5 Savory Students will automatically be transferred to Spencer Middle School unless families request another school. Please Contact the Savory Office if your Garde 5 student plans to attend another School District 62 Middle School other than Spencer Middle School for Grade 6 and fill out a School Change Request Form for 2023-24.

This is a CASH ONLY event
The Pac will have Pizza, Popcorn, Chips, Juice, Water and candy bags for purchase the night of the event.
Please bring blankets, pillows and other soft comfortable items for seating. Keep other movies goers in mind and the gym floor when choosing your items, we want everyone to be able to see and no scratches on the floor. Please no lawn chairs.

The first day of school is Tuesday, Sept. 6. At 8:40 am all returning Grade 1-5 students go directly to their last year’s lineups for the first week, and new students will meet in the gym. Students do not need to bring School Supplies until they are in their new class.
The first day all students are dismissed at 11:38 am.
Kindergarten Gradual Entry begins Friday, Sept. 9.
Savory Elementary will be closed for the summer, Friday July 8 to Friday August 26, reopening Monday August 29.
The Savory Elementary Office will be open 8 am to 3:30 pm Monday to Friday beginning Monday August 29. Please call back on August 29 with any questions. If you need to register for September please go to the Sooke School District website online Registration page.
